I love the books. I jest loves em! Though I find I read in cycles
- sometimes a lot, other times - not so much. Sometimes I can
power through a book in half a day, other times, it takes months.
Some go forever unfinished. Others re-read frequently. Here's
some of my favorites, past, present and future. Enjoy!

A classic from the Dr. Suess
collection, 'Are You My Mother' is one I grew up with and still
keep around for days when I need a pick-me-up! |

There isn't
a comic written as intelligently as Calvin & Hobbes. Watterson's
brilliant world views and simplistic playfulness are embedded
throughout. Plus Hobbes pounces are cool. |

I have
my sister to thank for introducing me to Griffen & Sabine.
The books are like pop-up books for adults - good writing, beautifully
hand illustrated, and lots of fun to read. |

The
Giving Tree still brings tears to my eyes. That manipulative little
kid just takes and takes and takes. The parallels between most
humans and the earth are staggering - though I'm not sure the
earth will forever remain as generous as the tree did. Time will
tell! |

Definitely
my all-time favorite kids book. I still use "...or I will
eat you up!" as a threat when I don't get my way, though
few take me seriously. Maybe it's time for a demonstration. |
