God drew a picture for me once...
Of mountains and mist
And a thundering sea.
I shared it with many,
But it was intended for me.

His frame was my vision,
His canvas the sky…
He offered a masterpiece
That could tear a blind eye.

It seduced all my senses,
And invited my stare.
Embraced me with the vision
He had chosen to share.

As I sit in admiration
I have to ask myself why
I haven’t spent more time with him
To ease my tired eyes.
