Blindness - 1991

You realize you’re blind.
Your life, another’s life.
Your thoughts, another’s thoughts.
And you realize you’re blind.
Opening your eyes to a new picture
Finding you’re not
Who you thought you were.
And you realize you’re blind.
Your words, another’s words.
Your views, another’s views.
And realizing your blindness,
Blind to a reality outside your own
Unable to pierce through
The ever-dark blanket of society.
And you realize you’re blind.
And as you open your eyes,
You catch a glimpse of reality,
And you realize that at least
You’re not the only one.
